Inspired by tools like Command E and Arc that use hotkeys to search within your local machine or open new tabs, I wanted to experiment building my own personal hotkey-activated AI assistant to speed up my workflow.

The plan is to build a Mac native app using Electron, and who knows, maybe eventually market it?

This AI wrapper is designed for quickness. Tabs above show some of my own most common personal use cases: Summarize, Explain, Translate, and Analyze. The plan is to make these customizable for each user.

There's also some of the more accessibility (or vanity-based?) visual controls like choosing dark mode, light mode, or Apple's newly designed (and kind of controversial) Glass mode.
